Updates
I am on my third pump-pack of the Gel now, I have been remembering to put it on fairly consistently. The only noticeable effect so far is that the tissue under my nipple area seems much more tender than before, and I am feeling pain sometimes if I catch one, or roll over in bed.
I don't think anything else too exciting has happened in the last few weeks journey wise anyway.
I have been a bit withdrawn from social media, and I have missed my usual weekly post on here, lots on at work, and my dad is back in hospital, just not had the motivation to write. So I am partially reconstructing events by looking at selfies :)
Adventures of a few weeks ago
Thursday the 23rd was Chams, it was a nice night. I went with minimal makeup and jeans and a t-shirt.Was trying to be more casual. Spent a fair bit of time talking with Amber, and discussing ales. I got home after midnight, but had the day off the next day so didn't need to get up early.
I had decided to try and dress for as much of the weekend as I could, to get more used to doing the boring stuff en femme. So on Friday I ventured out in my warm hat to B&Q in the search of drawer knobs for my chest of drawers. Turns out they are very expensive in there, so I went to Dunelm next door and got some bargain glass ones.
After this I went welly shopping around the rest of Wakefield, as my vinted purchase had not turned up. Didn't find any suitable ones however. I had a nice jacket potato andmocha in the 'Neptune Diner'. Headed home after looking in a few charity shops.
Fitted the drawer knobs, and cleared out a lot of my male clothes I have no longer been wearing. This gives me a bit more room for day to day female casual wear.
In the evening I took some pics of possible LFF outfits.
On Saturday I dressed again. I had been clearing out some of my old dresses I knew I would never likely wear again, and took them to the charity drop off point at my local Co-Op , then headed inside to get food supplies.
After lunch I worked on the car, disconnecting most of the parts required to get started on the engine and gearbox removal.
Sunday was another afternoon spent on the car - while dressed, under the overalls was a new fruit of the loom T-Shirt I bought to gauge their sizes. I plan on getting a load more. I had also picked up some more female jeans on Vinted.

Yay for day-to-day dressing: it's quite a tonic in terms of just making low-level positive difference to one's feelings. I also appreciate it doesn't leave much of a mark.
ReplyDeleteAll the best to your Dad and hopes that your work doesn't end up being too difficult.
There are only a few working days left this year at least , and thankyou
Delete"Unexpected fabulousness in the bagging area."🌟
ReplyDeleteHmm. That didn't sound as rude in my head. 😁
Yay for day to day stuff and being out and about. As much as the sequins and kick ass boots look is fab, I think there's a lot to be said about enjoying the time as ourselves and just getting on with life.
PS: I hope your Dad starts to feel better soon
I do wish they would say that , although perhaps I would need to sit on the scale for it to recognise that :)
DeleteThanks, he's not too good at the moment, but stable it seems.
