Post Thursday comedown

It's been an odd week, went into my old office on Tuesday to help clear it out. It was mothballed after the first lockdown - not long after we were acquired. So many happy memories working there.

Did 25000 steps, mainly taking junk down one floor. My legs were still aching driving to Nottingham on Thursday, so having to divert via umpteen roundabouts to take the A1 was not fun.

Chams was nice, smaller crowd, Joanna was there in a fetching outfit, nice dress and posh shoes and fur lined coat.

I had misplaced my elasticated tummy torture device, which meant a change to a less figure hugging dress to minimise my belly. So 'recycled' my grey cable knit dress as the Daily mail would say.

There was also a new couple there who had recently joined the forum. They seemed nice but didn't get much chance to speak.

No major issues on way back, no speed camera flashes :)

Felt a bit sad reverting on my return.

Today was quite painful, lack of sleep and general Friday feeling, but I was plagued with lots of work all day. Fridays are usually more relaxed.

Felt the need for a takeaway to cheer me up, but that won't help with my weight.

The Mrs is on a sleep over tomorrow into Sunday, so means I'm unlikely to be able to do any enfemme adventures yet again this weekend. Really want to go out at the moment, and not just to a supermarket.

I got some 'healthy' water based nail varnish to try, it does feel less tight on them. It's meant to peel off.

Will report my findings when try.

Storm's

I've been under the weather with what seems to be a cold since mid last week. With nose blowing I've not felt too much in the mood for getting fully dressed.

I've managed to wear nail varnish for much of the week however. Even went to the (very) local Asda with it on, battleship grey but with a sparkly top coat. It was pretty quiet, and I don't think anyone noticed. Also been wearing my blue suede boots - the side zip is the only giveaway, but again who is likely to notice. They are much quicker to get on though :)

I was working on my car the previous Saturday, then a family lunch on the Sunday, so it's actually been a week and a half since I dressed. I did today, nose was still dripping, so that area soon lost its foundation, but I could at least see what my new glasses looked like on me.

I am pretty happy with them

Still no speeding fine through yet, but still time. My friend seems to have turned the corner, seems more positive than the previous week. Hope stays this way.

I went all out with social media, Facebook, Instagram, etc. I have Reddit but not dared Post any pics for fear of ridicule.
Signed up to a load of local LGBTQ groups in the hope there may be some events I could attend. Coffee and cake days seem popular, I like both :)

Mentioned shaving again to my wife, she seemed to give me the OK, so will be purchasing supplies. I've read a cream or conditioner is better than the foam or gel you would use on your face. Also getting rid of the long stuff with clippers is probably a good idea.

The storms of late haven't really affected us, aside from making it rather unappealing to leave the house.

Doing quite well with Duo, should be one league below Diamond shortly.

Happy Friday

Went to NottsChams again last night. It's only my third visit, but it really feels like I belong, which is nice.

My friend Joanna wasn't there, which I wasn't too concerned about on the evening as I'm rubbish at communicating and hadn't thought to ask if she was going - however seems like she may have be having a down day.

It was a much busier night that the previous week, there were several new-comers , two which I must have rudely rushed past in the foyer without realising they were looking for the group. I shall endeavour to inflict myself upon them should they return.

There were also a few from another group that seemed to be looking for somewhere with more people. I ended up sat next to one for most of the evening. Also a very nervous young person who had come in male mode. She was shown the changing rooms, and returned in a very beautiful red sari.

One of the most enjoyable moments in the evening was seeing her walk like a cat walk model down the corridor in a pair of heels Lynn had donated. I'm not sure if she had ever walked in heels before, but it was wonderfully elegant, walking a virtual tightrope. I'm not sure if anyone else noticed her do it, she seemed so happy, and that made me feel so too.

The only downside to the evening - well besides my usual poor performance at interacting with humans, was that I probably have my first speeding fine on it's way to me in the post, they closed all the lanes on the M1 northbound apart for the fast lane, and put a 40 limit up. I hadn't slowed enough, I saw some flashes, 75% certain they were for me.

Oh well, I could always see if I could take it to court and put a short skirt on.

Post numero one

This is my first ever blog post.  It should be probably contain important things, but nothing too exciting has happened recently.

I went to Sainsburys this evening, one of my spawn required vegetables for a school cookery class. I was informed that I would be eating it, so I could choose. I chose badly, courgettes were not in stock at Asda.

This gave me an excuse to get dolled up and go to Sainsbury's, I don't need much of an excuse. I like to go there as it's sufficiently far away from the village I live, that I won't likely meet anyone I know. Also the female clientele seem to be more likely to be a bit more made up, and more likely to be wearing nicer clothes so I feel I can fit in a little better.

I had a long grey cable knit dress on, black boots and my black 'military' style coat.

It may sound a little snobby, but there are people who go to my local small Asda in their PJ's - Anyway it's way too close to risk going there.

I should probably have worn a mask for the dreaded C, they still do ask you to, but I wanted my face to be seen, it seems like a less than real experience to hide behind the mask. I wore a mask last time, but it was much busier, and compulsory. It was quite quiet, so not many people were around, I think I caught at least one young couple give me a funny look, but I'm fairly paranoid and can feel uncomfortable even in man mode.

I had popped into the services on the M1 on the way to Chams last month, but there were only a few people in there, so that seemed even less of an achievement - although again, I did actually need to go in, as I had forgotten to bring decaf tea, and I slept badly the first time I attended, which was probably the excitement of it all really, but I put down to the tea.

Anyway I read that it's a right of passage to go buy some groceries while dressed, I think I've probably ticked that box.

Grumpy looking Izzy
In the car afterwards
I swear I wasn't grumpy
